 "Furuträ" is a familyowned company whith a long tradition from wood-manufacture. Already in the late thirties massive birchskis was manufactured by Elof Johansson for the lokal competing elite.
 In the sixties we made over 200 "Midälva-boats" and many are still in use.
When plasticboats made its entrance we began to produce pinefurniture
which still thirty years later are the main production. But knock on wood
now the demand for pineboats are raising again so now we are back in
production of the "Midälva-boat" again.
 In the nineties we started making a softsnowski called "Olskogens wildernesski" which has been highly preciated among hunters and people who likes the countryside. In the press it has got high ratings much because of its low weight.
 We take all wood in our own forest which is certified according to PEFC-standards (Pan European Forest Certification Scheme).
